Black Abalone Elongated Pendant
This gorgeous black abalone was cut back in the 70s when these shells were in abundance, and easier to come by. This color and patterning seems so rare and special to me, I’ve never seen anything like it. The abalone is nestled in a thick, substantial, highly textural setting. The back is pierced out to reveal the moody jewel tones on the back, of magenta and emerald green. It’s definitely giving dark mermaid vibes. 17.4mm x 39.6mm
